Apple Safari 3 Beta for Windows
During Apple's keynote yesterday, they introduced the Safari 3 Beta web browser for use on Windows! It is able to be downloaded, for free of course, from Apple's site directly. Jobs also states that it runs twice as fast as its competitors, mainly IE7 and Firefox. This is my first real experience using any Apple app, and honestly, its quite smooth. I like the look and it seems to work very well. I have only used it once or twice while browsing, but I have yet to see if any bugs will be unearthed.
My favorite function, that i wish you could do with Firefox, is you can drag tabs from the browser and drop them on the desktop to open a brand new window!
And another tidbit, the iPhone will run Safari as its browser app.
Give it a whirl, and tell me what you think.
